RMG was launched in September 2008. The aim at RMG is to create media solutions that respond to the needs of today's consumers.
Our Views:
The media environment is increasingly fragmented, where people's tastes, busy lives, and attitudes -- assisted by technology -- are changing how media is consumed. For media companies, the changes impact what information they cover, how they cover it, how they package it, and ways in which they deliver the content. Advertisers, too, are challenged by the fragmentation -- their customers no longer aggregate at one place, nor do they appear similar in their make-up. Now spread these changes across hundreds of countries, cultures and languages, and you will see the media industry appear more like a galaxy -- pockets of needs, habits, values, and individual uses drive the demand for media.
Our Approach:
We believe that several new media models will emerge from the media changes. Some of these models will take the form of "media solutions" to respond to consumer media needs. The idea behind RMG is to discover these needs and respond with products through a solutions lens. Often, the solutions simply mean combining already available content and technology, with a mix of local or geographic understanding to create viable content collection, aggregation and delivery businesses.
Our Audience:
For Publishers, we aim to create news ways to package and distribute content to help generate revenue. For Advertisers, we will attempt to create alternative advertising channels that reach consumers in new ways. For our Investors, we expect to deliver value by creating products that have high profit margins and enterprise value.
RMG is headquartered and registered in Hong Kong. Our technology team (The Perfect Future) is based in Noida, India. And our design team (Lemon Design) makes home in Pune, India.
